Lori Crawford, BS, RDH
Lori is excited to serve as President of the MDHA. Lori graduated in 1986 from St. Louis Community College- Forest Park with an A.A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene and a B.S. degree in Oral Health promotion from O’Hehir University. Lori practiced clinical dental hygiene for 30+ years. Lori has worked in the insurance business and in sales, and now enjoys a career with A.T. Still University- Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She holds a grant funded position as the Dental Hygiene Outreach Coordinator providing educational programs to adults 60 and older. She screens older adults and if they meet the financial qualifications, they receive much needed dental treatment at the dental clinic. Many have an income of $1,000 or less per month. It is very rewarding for her to know these individuals receive much needed dental treatment. She also teaches periodontal instrumentation on the clinic floor 4 hours a week to the dental students. Lori lives in St. Louis with her husband, Dave of 42 years and their fur-baby Franklin. Lori also has three adult children and 5 grandchildren. She loves traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
